This is why we work with suppliers who share our values and operate according to verifiable, internationally recognized criteria. Certifications are not a label to show. They are the most transparent way to prove that every step – from fiber to finishing – follows clear, controlled, measurable rules.
We have defined internal standards that require attention, throughout the entire supply chain, to animal welfare, responsible use of resources, safe chemical management, and protected working conditions. This means selecting fibers and treatments based on strict environmental criteria, and collaborating only with partners who accept the same commitments.
In short: our fabric doesn’t just speak about style. It speaks about a supply chain that takes responsibility, and can prove it. That is what sustainability means to us.
Certifications
The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) is an international voluntary standard that certifies two things: the well-being of the sheep and the responsible management of the land where they are raised.
It promotes careful, progressive practices in both animal care and land use, so that the wool is sourced in a way that respects the environment and meets the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare: freedom from hunger and thirst; freedom from discomfort; freedom from pain, injury and disease; freedom to express natural behaviour; and freedom from fear and distress.
Our RWS-certified wool is independently verified to meet these requirements and to be sourced responsibly.
What makes this fibre structurally different is the logic behind it. Instead of starting from new raw material, we start from what already exists.
Wool offcuts, unsold stock and end-of-life garments are selected by composition and shade, opened back into fibre using mechanical processes, blended, spun again and woven into new textiles. In practical terms, this keeps wool in circulation rather than treating it as waste, and creates a closed industrial loop around a natural fibre that is already known for its longevity.
European Flax® guarantees full traceability of high-quality linen fibre grown in Western Europe (France, Belgium, the Netherlands).
It is a plant-based fibre, cultivated without irrigation* and without GMOs.
European Flax® is developed to meet market expectations by highlighting the sustainable qualities of this fibre: natural, locally grown, traceable, socially responsible, technically reliable and high-performing.
The standard is owned and managed by the European Confederation of Flax and Hemp (CELC).
*Irrigation-free cultivation is guaranteed at 99.9% by CELC.
Materials
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres are produced within a supply chain that meets the high environmental requirements of the EU Ecolabel.
The entire process is monitored, starting from certified renewable wood and continuing through controlled, closed-loop management of water and chemicals.
These fibres are produced with the goal of minimising impact: avoiding unnecessary water use and preventing chemical pollution from entering the environment.
TENCEL™ is a Lenzing fibre brand. TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal fibres are made starting from wood pulp (mainly eucalyptus and beech), sourced from forests that are responsibly managed and regularly controlled.
These fibres are produced through a process designed to limit environmental impact. During spinning, both water and solvent are continuously recovered and reused, with a solvent recovery rate above 99%. TENCEL™ fibres are also certified biodegradable and compostable, which means they can return to nature at end of life.
Livaeco by Birla Cellulose™ is a fibre brand developed with a focus on responsible production.
The raw material comes from FSC-certified forests and can be traced back to its source, ensuring transparency along the supply chain.
